Our Story

Hello, my name is Gabriela. I am from Lima – Peru, I have three wonderful daughters, and I have been dedicated to education for more than 25 years. I have a specialization in early stimulation and infant massage, study, and work in educational institutions with the Montessori method.

I started my small business in Peru teaching personalized early stimulation classes, preparing sensory material for each child, according to their stage of development.

I worked in several educational institutions that specialized in the Montessori method, I am passionate about working with this methodology. The teacher becomes a guide and presents the materials according to your child’s interests. We work in a personalized way to ensure that they achieve an understanding of the tasks and activities they carry out during the day. It is wonderful to see how children choose their own tasks or activities and discover what they can do, always respecting their work rhythm. This methodology allows working with children of different ages to help the older ones by sharing their knowledge.

My daughters were my engine and motivation to enter this beautiful adventure of opening a child care, as a family, we decided to call it MAGIC SHAPES CHILD CARE.

Our Mission and Philosophy

Our mission

MAGIC SHAPES CHILD CARE’s family child care mission is to provide a place multicultural, inclusive, healthy, safe, and welcoming for children and adults.

We want to plant a seed for tomorrow’s greatness by enriching children’s lives emotionally, socially, mentally, and physically, involving parents and the community in the children’s best interest.

Our philosophy

Each child is unique and learns in their own way. We offer a prepared environment where children can learn for themselves, we allow them to make their own discoveries.

We offer concrete concepts through materials they can manipulate, which allows them to understand the abstract idea. With the activities we carry out we encourage cooperation, respect and a spirit of service. Children grow up feeling that everything they do for themselves, acquiring self-motivation and self-discipline.

Every job they do Individually they love, experiment, and learn. They learn through play, experiences, art and repetition. We believe that parents, teachers, and the community can make a difference in a child’s life.
